Tratado de Paris

As a result of the treaty of peace between the United States and Spain that ended the Spanish-American War in 1898, up to one fourth of the subjects of the Crown of Spain lost their nationality. Or so it would appear. I provide references since published, from the secret negotiations between the commissioners of Spain and the U.S.A. in Paris to subsequent opinions by American and Spanish jurists
